Laiklandic Air Force
The Air Force is the third largest branch of the military by personnel, as well as the dominant air power, and one of the nation's first lines of defense. There are over 52,000,000 personnel in the LAF. The Air Force maintains the majority of the nation's arsenal of ICBMs and nuclear warheads, with the rest belonging to the Space Command. The Air Force mostly operates out of land bases on the mainland, with a few scattered around nearby islands.
Basic Training lasts for 7 weeks, and when it's complete, the newly trained recruits will go to a specialty school. If they wish to become a pilot, they must go through a 2 year officer course, then a 1 year pilot course, then if required, another specialty school for at least 6 months. The Air Force maintains its own special forces units, and is almost entirely logistically independent. It has the highest entry requirements out of all the branches, requiring a Military Aptitude Test (MAT) score of 75/100.
